The interdisciplinary conference will explore how universities can engage with the development community in an effective way to promote sustainability with a case study of Haiti.
The conference features 3 panels which will discuss sustainable solutions for housing, agriculture and environmental issues, and women's roles in shaping sustainable development solutions.
There will be two available working group sessions for participants to participate in led by facilitators to encourage a continued dialogue in strategic areas of focus including environmental sustainability, economic development opportunities, educational, creative responses to disaster, food security, human rights, youth development and women's role in development in Haiti.
